art of the medieval mediterranean...

...is not relevant to the art that i'd rather study. (which is more potvin's teaching abilities, not the art itself hehe) it's interesting because of all the early christian stuff that we get to look at...but the way it's taught is terrible. i'm quite annoyed with the way i've been not studying...but i couldn't care less. the midterm is only 20% of my final mark----and i have an assignment i'll do really well on in march, and from now on i'll take really good notes and turn my bad attitude around for the second half of the term. you know me. good intentions don't always follow through...but THIS one will. yep. just like the chocolate worked for me, right? uuuh yeah

guess what--i bake REALLY good cookies. (chewy double chocolate) really really good. (if i do say so myself, that is) i've given up on my chocolate-free february, just because i bake good cookies... :) it's therapeutic. baking is. eating is too, but i like to bake. (rather than eat myself sick...which i also do...sigh...) like i'd rather bake than study for this midterm. that's ok, right? can't ever bake too much. maybe if i bring some cookies for prof. sonne and the TA, maybe they'll mercy pass me
