thanks laura! (check our her jan29 post) haha
so i just came home from bridges winter retreat (look at ecf pictures) and then i went straight to bluemountain with crazy family (same family as the last weekend i spent at bluemountain chalet...in the archives somewhere...) it was really cool! this group is great. and it's fun being in retreat mode while hanging out with family---and yet i slept a lot also. didn't snowboard as much as i could have(although that was good too! not icy or scary---i got to go really fast. got a *little* bit of air but didn't try any official jumps. YET)...and i came home early this morning (*to do homework*), haha instead of homework i spent my morning on msn and catching up with my virtual life, then did some laundry and vacuuming, and walked out to FCB to update my christian music collection. i did some worship team stuff this weekend--yes a new experience for me...i enjoyed it immensely, but i think i'd rather be more background: i can rock out all i want on my xylophone from the back corner of the room, and i can harmonize on all the wrong notes from back there. if you notice me, cool. if not, also cool!...and yet i'm also not entirely sure about my fluffy music skills--what good is an ear when i'm still working on the confidence to sing for you? and yet...it's not for you, it's for Him. use the gifts he gave you! and you can say that till you're blue in the face but it won't matter b/c it's a heart thing, not a face thing. all that to say i'll keep singing but i want more practice. hence the updating christian music collection.
anyways, i had some funny issues at bridges but overall it was a great weekend. then my family was nice enough to let me veg at blue, and here i am dealing with more funny issues--like being an introvert and trying to get people together for a birthday. (usually i don't care what i do! too much work to organize a party. hence the mass emails about BP...not the right way to organize a party: i know that!! argh)
so mostly i told you to read laura's post because of funny issues, and i really enjoyed reading that. and i was going to write a bit about that but i don't think i will! except that bridges was really neat because we had some random girls in our small group (meaning, people we just met that day) and we shared some prayer time and stuff, discovered a lot of common things we worry about. aaaaaaah i'm not alone! :)
so, that's enough blogging---i'm craving something goosebump-good....maybe a shower, then food and some bible study, definitely music. forget that homework.
