brilliant idea!
instead of hitting up the downtown crowds, and spending WAY too much time and money waiting in lines for...ribs...we had our own.
complete with homemade baked beans, corn, potatoes, and ribfest competition. p&g won first place, with s' country ribs coming in close second (my fav!) ...the party included goldfish races, gymnastical entertainment, campfire, and of course beers all around...i like my neighbours.
dalia spent the weekend here----aaaaawesome times. there's just something about spending time with people. even if you don't talk very much, or you both fall asleep on the couch with third day...:) i learned how to crochet! heck yeah!
and...plans for europe are still crazy running around in my head. nothing's finalized, gotta pack, decide what clothes i want to wear for a month...flip. too much planning to do. :)
candice is getting married in a very short time. 5 days now? wow.
haircut tomorrow, then hour massage! YES! and then mari date. good times. then traveling all over the place to airports and home again...busy week.
i have a book to read. bye
