so, we're here.
Paris is really quite cool---we're sharing this puny little flat with a guy (actually, a chef!!) named jeff, and kendra, who is moviing to gap to teach english to french elementary students. our flat consists of: a kitchen that would be a comfortable size for a bathroom, a bathroonm that resembles a closet, or even a sardine tin, and one other room crammed with two bunkbeds, a futon, and lots of little things. even a tv!! this is the life. the hostel actually rents it off someone, so we're literally staying in someone else's space.
it's a funny switch from barcelona, and i already miss gaudi...but i'll buy myself a book of gaudi stuff when i get home.
so last night we checked out sacre coeur (literally just up the street, a 5 min walk, we can see it from our pigeony window) and from there had our first official glimpse of the eiffel tower...brilliant.
and today: louvre and more eiffel tower!! oh yeah!!
ok this little cafe is right around the corner from home, so updates shouldn't be too difficult. keep up the emails, people!
