yes i blogged already today. but this will publish on saturday, so that's ok. :)

so tonight i went to keegan's hockey game. kira and i sat in the bleachers, right under the heater, wrapped in a blanket, and cheered for number 27 on the white team.
because, as keegan walked away he said 'mumble mumble' which sounded like 7 or 27 or something. left forward usually. didn't say what colour (we shoulda known that) but it's easy enough to figure out, right?
so we dutifully pick out the numbers---couldn't see 7 OR 27 on the blue team right in front of us, so obviously he's on the white team. we're looking down the ice at the white team and 7 is a puny little guy. i don't think that's him. 27, though, looks a lot like it could be him---it's GOTTA be!

so we cheered him on. he was really good! we were so surprised at our little brother--hockey star! he had tons of chances to score, and finally he did. we cheered. LOUDLY.
...we were so happy we'd figured out who to cheer for.

after the game, we told keegan: 'NICE GOAL!'
and he was so confused.
'what goal?!'
'the one you SCORED, silly!'
'uuhh..i was in net...'
'um, you're kidding.'
'the whole game'
'um, you're kidding.'
'...for the blue team...seriously!'

OOPS. sorry keeg!
at least you know we were cheering loud for you.
we thought we were anyway.
we had good intentions...
