to the point where i might drive off the road looking at them.
what i love even more than trees at night when they're lit up by streetlights...is trees at night after freezing rain when they're lit up by streetlights.
the only problem with this is...it usually only occurs when it's too cold for even the most devoted person to stay outside for more than...10 minutes...with a camera. the cold, and the fact that the trees are covered with ice, probably also mean that the roads are covered with ice, demanding full attention or else...
...and by the time you get home safely and find your dusty/busted camera and lonely tripod, someone's already made some hot chocolate with bailey's for you and you can't wait to be cozy warm in your fluffy pajamas with a good book and that someone and it's just so hard to go back outside in the cold even though you love those trees at night after freezing rain when they're lit up by streetlights SO MUCH---
but you know there will be more freezing rain.
and those streetlights are on every night.
and there are always more trees.

flip! no one made me any hot chocolate!

Hehe.
I agree the trees were beautiful . . . but enough to risk finger loss. I need those for music, or I'd be lost in this world!
