1 timothy 6:17-19

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

Where's the emphasis?
Is everything God provides us with intended for our enjoyment, or does he provide us with just the things we need for enjoyment... I think I'm gonna go with the first one.
He provides us with families who teach us how to enjoy life; (particularly, peculiarly puntacularly...and more!) who teach us how to live life so that we enjoy it, and so that others can enjoy it too. He provides us with the necessities so that we can live and enjoy. He provides us with jobs which are enjoyable. [[And I think, if you're not enjoying it, then you're either not putting enough effort into smiling, or you're not putting enough effort into God. (Kind of a hard truth, no? But I think it's kind of what it boils down to...) Because...if you're putting more effort into God, you'll be more in touch with who you are in him and you'll be more able to smile or to trust that you can quit and he'll show you something else--better--that he has in mind....]] He provides us with people to laugh with (sometimes at...hehe...). With friends who see the good in us, and with friends who will confront about the bad in us. He provides us with sunshine to warm us up and make us beautiful. He provides us with music---like Suf, for example---which musical hearts can enjoy. He provides us with musicians with which to enjoy creating music. He provides us with voices with which to enjoy such beautiful harmonies that bring tears to our eyes. He also provides us with stamina to sing through the lumpy throats when those beautiful harmonies bring tears to our eyes. He provides us with so many things we don't even KNOW!

(and He provides us with the hard times so that we enjoy him SO much more when we draw near to him.)

Recognize this! Live it! And take hold of the life that is TRULY life!

SO excited to be here and enjoying this life...

Dear Justine:
I like it that you get excited about the Bible. And you have interesting things to say about it. And you make it a personal book. It sounds like you really enjoy reading it and when you find something special in it, you can't wait to share it with other people. I like it a lot.

I miss you beaucoup.

Sorry to scare you last week. Glad you know what's the real thing now:)
Yeah. I need to draw near to God a lot more...and then my job would be enjoyable a lot more too. Hmm.
I miss you a lot.

I miss your xylophone, and I hope to come up again sometime, and... thanks for the beautiful post.

Goodbye.
