g r a c e

sometimes is elusive

sometimes holds itself out of reach so that you have to work a little harder to be who Jesus calls you to be

sometimes depends on how much sleep you have been getting

sometimes requires discipline

sometimes isn't easy

sometimes isn't fun, either

sometimes is necessary

i think grace is never out of reach. we are just too foolish to open our hands and receive it. But in the midst of our foolishness, it is grace that helps us grab it. It's like a cycle!

the 3rd - 7th points; do you mean offering grace to others?

yes...all/most of the points are about offering grace to others. but it's kind of the same thing---grace received is grace re-gifted and it's hard to re-gift the grace when we're too foolish to open our hands and receive it...it's even hard in those times to see that we need to ask for grace in order to grab that grace.

it is a cycle---a hard, vicious cycle at the points where you forget to ask for grace. and it's a good cycle when you're reminded again to ask for grace.
