excerpt from an email i haven't sent yet.

It's not always about being dissatisfied with things that we like or not, or just about being frustrated with perspectives that are different from ours. It's not even a matter of finding a place that's more comfortable to worship in, or where we feel more at home... 

It's a matter of what the church is and who we Christians are called to be.  Musical worship in the church service is only a small SMALL part of what our lives with Jesus are called to look like. It plays a role...but we know that the church as a whole plays a bigger role than just Sunday--the community it forms plays a huge role in how individuals are understanding Christianity...and it might just be that another community equips its members in a more effective way for that life transformation.  It might just be. 

I want to be there.
