.what.a.day.

Words are overrated. I wanted to say trite, but I looked it up and realize that's not the best idea.

Words are...narrow.
Narrow.

It's just amazing how, in one little part of the world, life---with all of its puny insecurities, frustrations, uncertainties, loneliness and disconnect---looks normal. And in another part of the world, a beloved pastor in a thriving, prayerful church is taken home to her LORD, leaving that thriving, prayerful church to mourn around the family she left behind, and to pray some more. And in another part of the world, an earthquake takes away the beloved fruit of so much labour, of so much of a community's hard work and prayerful dedication. Lives were graciously spared, others weren't.

All in one day.

And life, in one little part of the world, seems to just go on.

I just wanted to say this:
Yes, words are overrated. If I'm learning anything, while studying words and their structure and uses, it's that! Jeepers. Sometimes it's frustrating, but sometimes it makes them that much more appealing to me.
