life goes on

it sure does.

summer's almost over! it's been great. landscaping...working with various people who i WILL miss during the off-season, hopefully i'll run into a few of them during the year...and that's pretty much all i did this summer...landscaping...
i had my very last dishpit shift at pearl street cafe tonight, but i called beforehand because it's been a while since i was there last...and they didn't need me! shafted. gone. no more dishpit. that job lasted me flippin 5 and a half years. wow...way too long. and i start next week at west plains bistro, waiting tables (much more fun than dishpit, TRUST me) it's going to be good. make sure you come out and see this place when it's done, try something from their delicious menu.
baseball tournament today, we placed 3rd out of four teams (oops) but only about half our team was there, and half of those people were asleep--including me!! i'm excited for baseball to be over...i like it, but i don't love it. because i'm a little slow in the head sometimes and i really do have trouble following the game from time to time. because i don't get enough sleep. that's why i'm still up at 10 30 pm, drinking tea and not sleeping. smartie.
i was getting really freaked out about the next few weeks because of work and school and various committments that i've made and need to honour...until i've recently realized that i'm ALLOWED to say no to people when they ask me to do something. i CAN'T work every saturday in september, it's not physically possible for me. i need a break. same with my crazy school schedule: with finishing classes at 11 on monday and friday, i can meet the crew at lunch and work. eeww. (this is the landscaping job) but why do that? just don't do it. you know if i don't, i will just sleep those days. but i WON'T----
i'll sleep now though

Hi! I seem to have wandered in here somehow... Good to hear you survived landscaping, along with my little bro this summer.
Anyhow, all the best to you at school this year... God is good - all the time!!
