london.

well!  it's been awhile!
i left off...with fish and chips and precleaning. fish/chips were good. :)  we did groceries, then attacked robert's house...wow.
it looked really good by the time the guys cleaned up all their stuff and we hung up the dutch birthday slinger...and blew up some balloons...:)
i DID bake---made some cookie sheets out of tin foil!  and they did work out.
for the most part.
nuria made brownies, we had chilli with rice, and bruschetta bread...and so much cake!
i think my favourite part of bristol was...the bar in the closet under the stairs.
i'll post a picture of it when i get back--it's brilliant.
so...party was fun.  just ask nuria about mark darcy.
(who lives in a castle in hartfordshire.)
that accent...haha...
the next day we really lazed around...it was SO late by the time we got out of bed (AFTER eating breakfast of course--tea and everything!)  ...we were done cleaning everything up by 4 ish.  4 30 we were on our way to london---2 hour drive, with a stop at windsor castle...then out for groceries and nuria cooked us spanish dinner.  some wine and laughs...
sunday: church at all soul's, langham place.
GOOD stuff.  really interesting reformed sermon
(reformed, AND modern...) and we sang some really good songs.  i think i've been craving music!
then a hop skip jump over to westminster abbey for an evensong.  another interesting sermon...robert and i tackled the pastor afterwards and asked HER some questions...it was interesting...
london eye after this, and then the tower bridge again (nuria hadn't seen it yet!)
we had steak dinner, and then back to richmond with ice cream, bailey's, chocolate...this is the life.
today:  we were supposed to meet robert at 2 after his meeting/interview...(yes in a suit!)...but we randomly met him 1.5 hours early, at picadilly circus.  that was funny.
so we walked a lot.  saw buckingham palace.  saw...eaton square etc.  sloane square.  pizza express.  some shopping.  notting hill gate, portobello road. a really nice jewellery store---i loved it.
uumm...then to harrod's! wow!
here for grilled cheese cook off (mine was better, of course ;)), and monty python and the holy grail, then we said goodbye to robert.  sigh. but we can keep up with him with the link i added...and maybe he'll put up some of these pictures on there.

so...really, just one day left.
this is crazy.
i need to sleep. good night!
