-Online discussion/questions on Rahner and Pannenberg. (Due today--I already went online and said that I'm not done reading yet...might as well be honest about it!)
-Find a place of worship that's NOT Christian...go there...and write a 6-10 page paper on your experience. (due feb23)
-Write a Congregation and Community Analysis. (includes taking a look at the last 10 years' annual reports in your community...uhoh) (due feb26)
-READ Cynthia Bourgeault/Centering Prayer (1/3 done! yay!)
-READ Richard Foster/the Celebration of Discipline, write 2pg book review. (due feb21)
-Think about writing a 4pg primary source analysis on Origen's song of songs homily for feb25.
uuuummmmmm there's more. But that's what Reading Week looks like...
AND the best way to start off the week is to decide to learn how to play my trumpet. Funny how many 'how to clean a trumpet' videos there are out there on youtube...my trumpet is going to be SO clean by the end of next week. AND I am building a bag next week. AND I am going to Kingston this weekend with some family/friends. AND I have a Jenna Lane date next week. AND band practice, maybe x 2. AND a knitting date. AND a LOST date. AND an hour a day prayer date.
AND I think I am going crazy.

PS writing it all out sort of helped. but it's just another way to avoid actually doing the work.
doesn't help that the sun is shining so beautifully today...
I hear you on the workload for reading week. The good news is that you don't have to do readings for class next week while trying to do the other things. Hope you have some lovely time to rest and relax!
Just PLEASE try not to procrastinate tooooo much! Maybe you don't know if you should be at school for what you're studying, but you ARE there right now, and you should probably do your best - for God, not you.
Just saying is all...
Oh John Hick! He's a nutcase. Have fun. Also, I have something else you should read in response to him, if you want it sometime a year or two from now when you have all that stuff done.
Peace + Love, Ben
