I was thinking about friendship the other day, and I looked in the back of my Bible to see if I could find a 'quickfix' sort of thing to read.
(is that even possible in the Bible!!? ...somehow I highly doubt it.)
1 John 1:5-9
This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him is no darkness at all. If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Again, it's coming down to this stubborn pride.
Not 'quickfixable' at all.

pride. I think it's basically the root of a lot of the sin we commit everyday.
Pride is what a lot of my mistakes and sin comes down to. I never want to admit that I'm wrong or I just think much too highly of myself or I think that my personal conversations are more important than anything else. Something I know I need to work on, but constantly fail at.
I miss you Justine, let's go walking again. Soon. With Julia and Kira. Please?
